I'm pleased to announce that I've just released a little book of essays on ownership, judgment and self-knowledge.  It's called Two Billion Dollars in Nickels: Reflections on the Entrepreneurial Life. We'll get more information on the website soon, but the book is available on Amazon now and my co-author wants everyone to know that for each copy sold, his son gets one more minute at the University of Oregon. Thanks, PO

Reflecting on your presentation at the Stanford Entrepreneurship eConference, here is why I took notes, Paul:

I just finished reading the book and found it to be refreshingly clear and concise.
Your insights into managing one's own business and personal finances were most interesting and insightful. On the vein of paying close attention to one's spending/investing habits, I thought I'd share with you what a successful real estate investor once told me: "Realize that every dollar you spend really costs you a $1.25, because the cash that ends up in your wallet is after-tax dollars." It's forever altered the way I spend as I now regularly multiply 1.25 to the price tag of any good I consider buying. It make me think twice about my purchases.
