Diversity: Two Steps Forward and A Big Step Back

As a nation with a long history of offenses against women and people of color, we are rightfully proud to see Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama in contention for the White House, but before we pull a muscle patting ourselves on the back, I’d like to point out that we are falling behind on a more important type of diversity.

The Nation's Future Wasn't On The Test

“California’s public school system lags behind most of the nation on almost every objective measurement of student achievement, funding, teacher qualifications and school facilities…The study issued today chronicles how the state’s K-12 school system has fallen from a national leader 30 years ago to its current ranking near the bottom in nearly every objective category.”

Kamelot

My friend and Entrepreneurial Investorco-author Dean Zatkowsky is writing a book about his experience at Kinko’s, and what he believes were the 10 key success factors that allowed Kinko’s to grow so dramatically for 25 years. He has asked me to participate by kibitzing, providing commentary in areas where I disagree with his point of view or can offer alternative viewpoints.

A Hidden Lesson From the Sub-Prime Fiasco
